    The rated capacity of the P210 power station is 2048Wh. However, in practice, the output capacity is generally lower than the rated capacity for the following reasons:

    • Battery life protection: The battery never fully discharges (even when the power station indicates 0%, about 5% of the energy remains in the battery pack) to extend the station's lifespan.
    • Self-consumption: When the power station's AC switch is activated, the device consumes about 20-25W per hour. Therefore, the longer the device is used, the more the station’s self-consumption increases.
    • Conversion losses: The power station's battery pack converts DC to AC via an inverter, with a conversion efficiency of around 90%. Additionally, there are energy losses across various circuits.

    These factors result in an actual output capacity that is lower than the rated capacity.

    What are the differences between the AF-P210 and 2001A?

    Yes, the AFERIY AF-P210 is compatible with most other brands of solar panels on the market. It is also compatible with AFERIY solar panels: AF-S200, AF-S100, AF-S400. Please note that the AFERIY AF-P210 supports a maximum input voltage of 48V, a maximum input power of 500W, and a maximum input current of 20A.

    Can the AFERIY portable power station be permanently connected to a solar panel?

    Yes, the AFERIY portable power station can be permanently connected to a solar panel. However, at sunrise or sunset, the solar panel may emit a ticking sound (due to the internal relay installed in the AFERIY portable power station, which acts as a protection circuit). This noise is normal and will not damage the power station or the solar panel. Additionally, please note that the portable power bank will experience slight power consumption when connected to the solar panel without any power input. Therefore, it is recommended to connect the solar panel only during the day and disconnect it when there is no charging effect at night.

    How many solar panels can the AFERIY AF-P210 portable power station connect to simultaneously?

    It depends on the combined power, voltage, and current of the solar panels you choose. You can connect the solar panels in parallel or series. Please note that the AFERIY AF-P210 supports a maximum input voltage of 48V, a maximum input power of 500W, and a maximum input current of 20A. If you connect AFERIY solar panels, you can either connect one AF-S400A1 (400W * 1) or connect two AF-S200A1 solar panels (200W * 2) simultaneously for charging.

    Can the AFERIY AF-P210 portable power station be recharged from a car cigarette lighter socket?

    Yes, a single ACC car charging cable (XT90 connector) is required. Please note that the car charging cable is capable of carrying a current higher than 10A.

    Currently, the P210 does not support capacity expansion. If you need a larger battery capacity, we recommend upgrading to the higher-capacity P310 or the P310 Expansion version.

    How should this power station be stored when not in use for an extended period?

    If the battery will remain unused for more than 3 months, keep it at 60-80% of its nominal capacity (it is recommended to check and charge it every 3 months). Store it in a dry, cool place, away from corrosive substances, fire, and heat sources.

    How do I switch the AC output voltage between 220V and 240V?

    The standard AC output voltage varies by country. Please check the voltage requirement of your device before use. Here’s how to adjust it:

  • If you purchased the device before December 2023, quickly press the AC button 10 times in succession to switch the output voltage between 220V and 240V.
  • If you purchased it after December 2023, there’s no need to manually switch the voltage, as the device will automatically adapt to an AC output voltage of 220-240V. The exact value will be determined by the input voltage or the voltage required by the load.
  • How do I switch the frequency between 50Hz and 60Hz?

    If you purchased the device before December 2023, hold down the AC button for 3 seconds to switch between 50Hz and 60Hz. If purchased after this date, there's no need to manually switch the frequency, as the device will automatically adapt to the input/output frequency.

    Can the AC input power be manually adjusted?
  • If you purchased the device before December 2023, the AC input power cannot be adjusted.
  • If you purchased it after this date, the required AC input power may vary depending on the time of use. Note that the total load power should be less than 2400W. To switch the input power, follow these steps: Press and hold the AC button for 10 seconds to enter the power switch mode. The display will show the input power settings screen, where you can adjust the AC input power. If you stay on the current input power settings screen for 5 seconds, the system will automatically save the current power setting and return to the main screen. Input power can be set to 5 levels: 300W/500W/700W/900W/1100W.
  • Why can't the AFERIY P210 2400W portable power station start some devices with motor loads, even if their rated power is below 2400W?

    Many motors or compressors generate a momentary surge current when they start, which is much higher than their rated operating power. This startup current can be several times the rated power, typically ranging from 2 to 7 times higher. This demand may exceed the power station's supply capacity, preventing the device from starting. Examples include water pumps, air conditioner compressors, and refrigerator compressors.
